It was my nephews birthday on the weekend and since they live over 1 hr away they decided to come and stay with us (being the awesome aunt I am I would of gone to there place for his birthday, but didn’t want to mention that). The weather was fantastic and we live 8 min minutes from the beach, so why would they want to come over.

Who doesn’t like pikelets or pancakes for brekky. My kids go crazy for them and once a week or two I make them. Previously we have put coconut or cinnamon in the batter but today we have used the delicious choc chip. My girls love helping me and they especially love when the sugar and the flour are mixed together, they just love putting their fingers in and yes the flour and sugar goes everywhere.
Yummy! I love this orange cake so simple and delish. I had seen this on when scrolling on foodiful.com.au a few times and couldn’t not make it, its was to calling me. I made it with my daughter and she had a strange look on her face wondering why would I put orange in a cake. Of course when she was licking the spoon she was amazed how yummy orange cake is.
