So many delicious looking oranges about and that is why I am going to make this Easy Whole Orange Cake. This recipe is super easy and quick, place all the ingredients in to a blender and you’re done. I have made this years ago and it was a hit. The cake is moist and full of flavour while the orange icing is delicious which adds a sweet orange explosion.

I do have another Orange cake recipe that does not use the whole orange which is still super tasty, but the quickness of this recipe is awesome and you still have a quality cake at the end.
I could not stop dipping my finger into the icing bowl. This icing is so good and would taste great on top of a sugar cookie or shortbread.

Cut orange in to chunks then place in food processor and puree until smooth.
-
Add the remaining ingredients into food processor and mix until well combined.
-

Icing
-
Mix icing sugar, butter, zest and half of the orange juice together and keep adding little bits or remaining orange juice until you get the consistency you like. I like to make my icing runny so it drips down the side of cake.
